What it covers
What a Medicare Advantage plan includes
Medicare Advantage, also called Part C, is an all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare offered by private carriers that Medicare approves. Most plans in the Moreno Valley area bundle in prescription drug coverage and add benefits Original Medicare does not carry.
- Part A hospital and Part B medical coverage in one plan
- Prescription drug coverage built into most plans
- Often extra benefits such as dental, vision and hearing
- A yearly out-of-pocket maximum that Original Medicare does not have
- Provider networks, so the plan you pick has to include your doctors
The catch is the network. A plan can look strong on paper and still leave your cardiologist out, which is the first thing Earl checks before recommending anything.
How it works
How Earl helps you choose a plan
List your doctors and prescriptions
Bring the doctors you want to keep and the medications you take. That list drives which plans are even worth comparing.
Compare plans against that list
Earl checks each Medicare Advantage plan for network and drug coverage, not just the premium, so you see which plans actually fit.
Enroll during the right window
He confirms which enrollment window applies to you so you do not miss a deadline or trigger a penalty.
Review it every year
Plans change every year. Earl offers a free annual plan review so a good plan this year does not quietly become a worse one next year.
